Island Charters’ Port Hamble base is ideally located – close to the mouth of the River Hamble, it has quick, easy access into Southampton Waters, the Solent and the Isle of Wight. It is about one and a half hour’s drive/train journey from London.

Why we chose it

Hamble is one of the most famous sailing locations in the world, with many key industry suppliers and famous yacht clubs, like the Royal Southern and the RAF, close by.

Facilities available

Our fleet is located in the main basin of Port Hamble Marina, between A and B pontoon just in front of the RAF Yacht Club and the Ancasta offices. The marina has free onsite parking, a chandlery and excellent onsite shower and WC facilities. The harbour office is manned 24 hours a day.

Hamble village is within easy walking distance, with a good choice of restaurants, pubs and boutiques. A short drive up Hamble Lane is a 24 hour Tescos with a petrol station.
