From the M3, follow signs to Southampton city centre.
As you approach Southampton, follow brown signs to the waterfront, to Town Quay.
If you are bringing your car over to the Island, Red Funnel Hi-speed passenger ferry is clearly signposted when you get to the waterfront.
If you wish to leave your car in Southampton, there is a Red Funnel car park on Town Quay, and a larger one, signposted, in the direction of Ocean Village.

By rail
Take the train Southampton Central. ·
There is a free bus service from the train station to Town Quay that will drop you off at the Hi-Speed Passenger Terminal.
If you prefer, take a taxi to Town Quay which should cost no more than £5.
Both journeys take about 5 to 10 minutes.
