SUPERYACHTS “RUSALKA” & “HALCYON” JOIN THE ISLAND CHARTERS FLEET

Island Charters has expanded their core business of premium racing boats to include super-yacht charters in the UK, Mediterranean and Caribbean. Island Charters are now acting as agents for the high performance luxury 78ft cruising yacht “Rusalka” and the classic yacht “Halcyon.

Rusalka was custom built in 2000 by Baltic Yachts in Finland, she is the prototype of her realm using technology that only the latest high performance racing boats are using – she is made of carbon with titanium fittings and has a hydraulic canting keel. In great contrast to Rusalka, UK based “Halcyon” is a classic, 95ft long, 1929 built Bermudan Ketch. Built in oak and teak, a recent refit has restored her to her original splendor. Her interior has been refurbished to the highest standard combining the opulence of the 1920’s with today’s modern comforts and navigation systems. The sails are still handled by their original blocks and tackles so the sailing experience is completely authentic. Halcyon comes with a crew of three and gourmet chef.

Not content to rest on their laurels, Island Charters are constantly adding to their quality yachts - recent additions include the brand new J122 and King 40 and an ever growing fleet of J109s.
