Basic race training – an introduction to yacht racing.
A two-day practical course (midweek or weekend) designed to introduce the
cruising yachtsman to the basic skills and techniques of yacht racing. At
the end of the course, you will have developed the skills required to
compete in an inshore race.
Intermediate race training
A two or three-day practical course (midweek or weekends) aimed at the
competent club sailor and occasional racer. It will fine-tune your racing
technique for both inshore and offshore events. Then you can put your new
skills into practice and blow the competition away in events like the
Spring and Winter series, JOG or RORC Championships.
Advanced race training
A five-day practical and theory course (Monday – Friday) for the regular
racing crew and club sailor keen to improve their position on the inshore
and offshore race circuits. Coached both in the classroom and on the water
by one of our highly qualified and experienced Grand Prix racing skippers
and sailmakers. Your racing skills will be the envy of other club members.
