Cowes Week has been in operation since 1826, and is now considered a British tradition and a staple of the sporting year. It is the world’s biggest sailing regatta of its kind, with more than 1,000 boats taking part in around 40 races a day throughout the week, and these races are enjoyed by professional sailors and yachting teams and amateurs wanting to put their skills to the test and take advantage of the excellent sailing conditions on the Solent.
