Villa Castelou, Mougins, South of France
Castelou is a lovely villa set in a very picturesque mature garden which leaves guests in complete privacy from neighbours and the street. It has a large pool with sun loungers & umbrellas to soak up the sun. The property has had a lot of work done to it in the past 3 years including both the garden and house. Villa Rusalka's build was completed at the end of 2012 & has been furnished with all new furniture in 2013. The house is very modern & has a lot of windows/doors keeping the place full of natural light. The tourist board awarded the property a 4 star rating on their inspection/classification.
On the ground floor there is a large spacious entrance hall with super modern kitchen & open planned dining table area for 8, which opens out to the benkavet stone paved courtyard and pool area. The kitchen also opens out to the south to a grassed garden with outdoor table and chairs. A bathroom and laundry also accommodate the ground floor. A floating wooden staircase leads to the first floor to the living room, which opens out onto a balcony where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the courtyard and pool backed by national reserve land that is uninhabited with typical Dalmation rocky land scape scattered with olive trees. On the second attic floor is the master bedroom with a king sized bed, ensuite & balcony which has views across the national reserve land & down to Milna village & port. There are 2 other bedrooms both with queen size beds sharing a bathroom on this floor. The pool depth is 7 x 3 m & a depth of 1.6m, with an outdoor shower & reclining wooden pool loungers. The outdoor built in stone BBQ is on the lower terrace complete surrounded by a large outdoor dining table & outdoor sofa chairs & hammock so guests can enjoy preparing their lunch or dinner with close proximity to the pool & kitchen. The entire perimeter is fenced in & hedges growing & has off street parking for 1 large car or 2 smaller cars (no turning room) The house is situated in a quiet residential area & its a short walk down to the fishing village of Milna.
